Our Story

St. Therese School of Southville (STSS) first opened its doors back in 1991 as St. Therese Learning Center (STLC) led by Teacher Malou Clarito who envisioned a nurturing environment for children. During its establishment, STLC initially only offered pre-elementary classes. It had only a handful of students and a small team of teachers and school staff.

With STLC’s personalized approach to instruction, its strong values program (founded on Catholic doctrines), its reasonable fees, and its caring environment, the school population steadily grew through the years.

Today, St. Therese School of Southville, Inc. now offers a complete basic education program with courses in:
Pre-elementary, Elementary, and Junior High School. It now boasts of two campuses, one in Hawaii Street and another in Washington Street both within Town and Country Southville Subdivision central area.

Our Guiding Light:

“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not depart from it.” - Proverbs 22:6
